Periodontal disease is basically a gum disease that is the major reason for the tooth decay among adults. It can also affect the heart adversely. This disease is hardy painful so it is difficult to recognize the disease.

Some signs that can help you detect the disease-

• Bleeding of gums while brushing teeth.
• If you are getting the gums red.
• If gums are pulled away from your teeth.
• If the bad taste or foul smell does not get away from your mouth.
• Getting pus around the gums
• Teeth getting looser.
• Facing difficulty while chewing.

Regular tooth brushing is advised to avoid the disease.
